Catalan Art

Do you want to know more about the art world in Catalonia? A land rich in history and cultural diversity that offers us a great artistic legacy that reviews the entire history of art.

We want to talk about the artistic Catalonia, cradle of creative geniuses ranging from the modernist architecture of Antoni Gaudí or Domènech i Muntaner, to the penetrating eyes of the Christ of Sant Climent de Tahull or so many other Romanesque frescoes that you can enjoy, in situ or in the National Art Museum of Catalonia.

But also of the splendor that the Gothic style had in Catalonia and that left us magnificent works, such as the tomb of Queen Elisenda de Montcada or the altarpiece of the Virgen dels Consellers and many other altarpieces that can also be admired in churches and museums of our land.

And of course, without forgetting the most contemporary art, where works by Joan Miró or Picasso share spaces in museums and streets with other international artists such as Roy Lichtenstein.
